I tend to tackle bloodskal barrow early on in order to get the black book so all skill books are worth 2 skill points. You don’t have to fight the dragon priest but if you choose to you can go drop the gate and go up the spiral staircase until you get your hidden status back so you can get off a couple sneak hits and then just rinse and repeat until he’s gone
